Will these be enough to take down whitetail? I have had great success with the 100gr. TSX in my 25-06. I have always used 100 gr. Gamekings in the 243 and always seem to be all over the board with accuracy. I am hoping the 85 gr. TSX will settle this down and still do as good as job as the big brother 100 gr. in the 25-06.

Thanks,

I've used the 85 grain Nosler partitions in 243 on antelope with excellent results. INHO on Texas sized deer it should work.

and maybe elk. Seriously, I wouldnt worry about it, as long as they are accurate in your gun.

You could try the 100 grain Pro Hunter. My experience has been that some rifles just don't like boat tailed bullets. I haven't tried em but the TSX could be a fine bullet.
