Can one interchange loading data for these two rounds?

Looking for a 250 grain cast load for 45 auto rim with Unique.

Sort of! Light loads that work in the AR may not function in an auto.

Also, you can load heavier loads for one of the newer 45 ACP revolvers than you would want to in a 1911.

By newer I mean,say,from the 25-2 foward.

My older Speer loading books show loads for the 45 Auto Rim equal to the Elmer Keith 44 Special type loads.

I have a new 625 that takes 45 ACP or 45 AR. I am loading the AR but find few recipes for it.
