OK Guys, how about sharing your favorite handloads for the 470 NE? Additionally, anyone
with experience shooting the A-Square Lion Load in this caliber?

In my Kreighoff 470 NE, I use Bell Brass, Federal 215 primers, Woodleigh Weldcore 500 gr. Softpoint, 88 gr. Rel 15, with a 5/8" foam filler.

When using the Woodleigh Solid, I reduce the Rel 15 to 87gr.

I bought some Kynoch #2 Foam fillers at the SCI convention, will start with 85 gr Rel 15 and see how they work.

In a friends 470 double a good load for plinking, deer and pigs was a Hawk 350gr. bullet over 75 gr. of IMR3031, with a filler of course. Start at 70gr. and work up untill the load "regulates" with your rifle.
You could also use RL-15, Start at what ever amount of RL-15 works with 500gr. bullets in your rifle.
This load has less recoil. I use 350gr. bullets in my 450 No2 for deer and pigs.
