I have a very accurate load for my .300 Savage in an old but pristine 722 Remington. This load consists of the 125 grain Nosler bullet and Reloder 7 powder. I can't find any data for the 130 grain bullet and Reloder 7 powder. Do you think I could use the same data for the 125 in the 130 grain load? Would 5 grains of bullet weight make that much difference? joe

That would be a bad idea. You would need to reduce the charge a bit for a heavier bullet. Rlr 7 is actualy a really fast buring powder for that bullet. Some good powders for a 130 in 300 s are IMR 4895, 4064, Varget, etc. Rlr 15 would be better than Rlr 7 for your purpose. I have had excellent results with Rlr 15, 3031 and 4895 in the 300 S. Joe I would reduce your existing load and start again with the heavier bullet. If you have a question about it contact the powder manufacturer, always good to get the info straight from the horses mouth. Good luck with your loading.
