These are made by a hunting mate for Woodleigh Bullets and are creating a storm with their effectiveness on all game from Elephant to deer.

Since this is obviously an Advertisement:

1. What exactly does the Designer believe "Hydrostatic Stabilized" means?
2. Is the Smaller Radiused End supposed to be the Front?
3. Since they appear to be a consistent "diameter" for 90%+ of the length, how much less Powder (%-wise) is required to run them at a SAFE(sane) Pressure, as opposed to a regular Bullet, and/or a Ringed Bullet?
4a. Or are they actually Tapered?
5. What do 20 cost?

Are those funny looking hollow points or boat-tail wad cutters?

And "hydro" stabliized? I'm puzzled, does that mean they will travel straight in pool of water?

Well I have to say that it is a ad but not in the sense of the commercial type that you are thinking of...these projectiles are made and designed by a sometime hunting buddy (Frank) and Woodleigh picked them up to run with. I am posting them as i reckon my buddy has got something that makes the others pale in comparison, one asiatic buff was shot through the horn then traveled five feet through the animal ( and killing it) So far they have rolled elephant, buffalo etc and Asiatic buffalo and sambar stags along with quite a few other animals.
I am in the process of having a .358 norma Mag made up and although I have the 358 pills the same @ 225 gr my rifle is not ready yet and thus I havent shot any myself.

I am simply bringing these pills to attn as a heads up and I definitely have absolutely nothing to do with Woodleigh and as above Frank is simply a mate.

I just tried to copy some of the words from your flick, but it won't let me. The reason I wanted to, is because there is a good bit of pure Marketing Bologna used to enhance the status of the Bullet. I won't take the time to "hand-enter" the Bologna.

However, regardless of the Bologna, if the Bullet Kills well, penetrates deeply in a straight line, and is reasonably priced, it will be a success regardless of the Marketing hype. I see nothing really "new".

I do see what appears to be a very shallow driving band, or it could be a tiny Crimp Groove. Plus the exposed Tips appear to be Plated in the Cartridges which is different from the components flick.

Anyway, best of luck to your buddy. And good Hunting and clean 1-shot Kills when you get the 358Norma all ready to go.

The 'plated' pill is the same pill with a stainless stell 'cap that is pressed on during manufacture..these are another line or "stage two"

As far as the sausage marketing they live up to it on proven results so far...some interesting stuff on NE forums also about them.
Of course many people doubt that they are something new and the debate go`s on as all things guns do!

Some from Frank himself here with pics of buff down.
