I am starting out loading data for a Chapuis double rifle in 30R Blaser. There is not a lot of relaoding data out there, so if any AR members have good data they are willing to share, I would sure appreciate it.

If you want I could send you some reloading info from the RWS book Wiederladen, but it's written in German and lists only Rottweill powders.
In general it's not that difficult. The 30R was desigend to be in the same leage as the 30-06 regarding case capacity and working pressure. Actuallly the performance (energy wise) of the .30R is about 5% above the 30-06 and it uses the same types of bullets and powder, but generally prefers a slightly slower poder than the 30-06.
As u rule of thumb, the max load for a 30-06 is listed as the minimum load for the 30R so if I were you I would start with the 30-06 max load and work up. The 30R can handle 3-4 grains more powder than the 30-06 and velocity will then be some 3-4% above the 30-06.

Yes, it´s true, the reloading book by "Rottweil" is using only Rottweil propelant and mostly only RWS bullets.
But I found a lot of loading datas in the German "DEVA"-reloading manual. (www.deva-institut.de)Bullet weights between 125grs and 220grs are listet, from makers like Barnes, Hornady, Nosler, Swift, RWS, Norma, Lapua, Woodleigh and Sierra. Many loading datas are listed with Vitha-powders, like N160, N165 or N560, but althought powders from Norma, Rottweil, Alliant, and IMR (IMR 4831).
Tell what for a bullet and powder do you choose and I will tell your, if there´s a loading data.

Martin - my best luck so far has been with a Barnes TSX 180 gr bullet and RL-22. I would very much appreciate any data you have for Vit or IMR powders with 180 gr bullets.

This was a little mistake, sorry. The correct OAL is 87,5mm.
And I forgot, the primers are mostly CCI250, sometimes BR2 or CCI200.

There is supposed to be a new DEVA manual coming out in 2015, seems like the old one could be hard to find over there. Was looking at a few Euro stores,to check if there was anything on it yet, looked like the old one is a bit scarce.
I have the complete book on a PDF, but, for the life of me, can't figure out how to cut the pages for the 30R out of it, without printing it. I can send the whole thing if you want it, though. 59mb.
