Hello All,

Does anyone know the case dimentions of the 20 MM & 30 MM Vulcan rounds, the Russian 12.7 MM round, etc?

(Rounds larger than the 50 BMG, I am NOT refering to anything with a base diameter larger than two inches.)

Thanks guys, and if anyone knows a web site to buy such ammo and view case drawings that would be GREAT!

I have a few dimentions at home, but sheesh that's a long list, can you narrow it down a little?
The following are in my paltry collection (there are a lot more out there).
50BMG (for referance) is a 12.7 x 99
The Russian is a 12.7 x 108
There is also a 50 Vickers
a 13 x 92SR (WW-1 German AT rifle)
13.3mm Hotchkiss
13.9 x 99B (55 Boys Rifle)
14.5 x 114 (also a Russian MG round)
20 x 102 (this is a current round_
20 x 110 Hispano
20 x 110 RB "Orelikon
25 x 137
25 x 163 Hotchkiss
25 x 194R Hotchkiss
27 x 145 (IIRC this is what Ed Hubel's 2 bore is baised on)
37 x 169R (WW-2 Jap AT)
37 x 219SR
37 x 223 SR

Off the top of my head (I don't have the dimentions here at work) all of the above have a base diameter under 2"

Thanks TG,

What I am seeking is info on rounds that are truly available to buy, and hopefully not at $10- per piece of BRASS.

I'd like to experiment with such brass, like turning them into rimmed pieces etc.

You mentioned Ed H's 2 BORE, that's what I mean, wildcatting on these larger brass'.

So when you can, I'd love to get those dimentions from you on those pieces you listed.

EXCLUDING any tough to find or over $10- per piece.

Also, if you have drawings or know sites which have drawings please provide those. Thank you.

No diminsions but a good source... how about a NEW 30mm Barrel???

www.bigskysurplus.com

also, 20mm comes in brass and steel
a lot of the larger cases are aluminum now. The 40mm-70 and -90 are brass (and very shiney)
