This is what I have the most of and am expecting the rifle this month. In preparation for the upcoming bull moose hunt does anyone have a few good loads worked up with these components I could view. I also have some IMR 4064 on hand and some Hornady 300 gr RNs as well as some GS Custom 265 gr HVs. Rifle is a M70 with pacnor 24" ss tube housed in an echols legend stock.
Thanks,
Jeff

If it is a 375 H&H you are loading for then 76 grains of 4350 and a 300 grain bullet should shoot well. It would be an odd 375 if it didn't like that load.
"...I advise the gun. While this gives a moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprize, and independance to the mind. Games played with the ball and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be the constant companion of your walks." My .375 H&H Magnum Mauser prefers 75 grains of IMR-4350, especially with the 270 gr. bullets....under MOA for 5-shot groups from the bench at 100 with a 2-7 X scope set on about 3-X.

I push the 270 grain Speer bullet a little harder, with 81 grains of IMR 4350. Best groups I have shot with this load. Some are all three touching. Velocity is @ 2650fps, extreme spread is between 12 and 24 fps.
The IMR 4350 and the 300 partition is my favorite load in my H&H. I would start off at 73 or 74 grains and work up from there. Your rifle will tell you what charge it likes. I use magnum primers in mine.
I've also used the 270 Hornady spire point (now interlock) with same powder when I couldn't locate any 300 partitions. That bullet works equally well.
Jerry, I tried some 270 Speers once, I never got them to shoot well, but abandoned the effort early. I had chalked it up to my barrel not liking the shorter driving band of that bullet.
