Beware the stickey bolt

I posted this in the Gunsmithing as well..

I have worked up loads in several rifles that the bolt got sticky with any load, so that can be a problem for sure when trying to determine max in your rifle..

The problem has to do with "wear" in the lug area and can be fixed by pulling the barrel and polishing the problem area. Its actually a rather common event..Ive run into it over the years to the point that I disregarded the stickey bolt and used the other warning signs..It has nothing to do with headspace apparently..
