I do not own one, but the load that I hear come up most is a case full of RE-22 and a 100 gr Partition or X-Bullet. Several years ago I helped a friend load up for one and we used IMR7828 and 120gr Partition seemed to be fairly fast. We did not have a chronograph, but with a 200 yd. zero it fairly well matched the 3200 fps tables in the manuels. It worked great for White Tails on 160 ac. Wheat Fields.
Pop, I do not have any load info for the 257 WBY but just thought I would offer to take it off your hands (for an offer I can't refuse ofcours ) since knowone seems to know any good loads for it.It would be tough but I guess I would just strugle with it until I finaly found a good load on my own.

POP, I have been using 63grains of Win 760 with nosler 100 grain ballistic tip for many years in MK5 257WBY. have used it on rabbits, cats, crows, kangaroos, goats, emus and foxes. It has made a significant impression on all of them. hope it helps you.
I like 73.0grs of Re-22 in R/P 7mmWby brass, coupled with the 100gr XLC. I seat towards mag box constraints(my 257Wby's are Rem 700 based) and likely to a longer length than most would like.
