I would like to get +3000 fps from my 280 rem with 130 grain nosler ballistic tips in a 26" barrel. I have been using IMR4350. Suggestions on powders and loads are welcome.

I really like Hodgdon 4831SC. Load about 56 grains and work your way up slowly. You will definitely get 3,000 with a 130.

Take a look at the favorite load post section
-there is a 280 thread going. I have a Ruger with a 22 inch barrel getting 2900 fps with a Hornady 139 SST, IMR4831 57 grains.
RL19 was slow for me, you should be able to hit 3000 VERY EASILY with a 26 inch barrel and a 130 grain bullet.

Buddy of mine is getting an even 3000 with a 139 SST in a 22" Mountain Rifle.Using 56 grs. of IMR4350.

I shoot 139gn Horn @ 3050 with V-140 powder ( Ammomart special ).

Last time I looked Nosler only made the ballistic tip in 120, 140, and 150 gr. in .284". You should have no problem getting the 120s to 3000 fps, but will have to work up some loads carefully, to reach 3000 fps with the 140s. It should be attainable with slow burning powders in a 26" barrel. I have had really fine results @ 2920 fps using IMR 4831 and 140 gr. bal. tips in one of my 22" barreled .280s.
