have been using a load of the Hornady 117btsp, frontier case, 56 gr rl22, fed 210. Want to cook up a load with the 110 gr accubond. would probably start with rl22 for powder. Any suggestions on starting and max loads? I was thinking on starting around 50gr and working up as high as 57-58 gr or until pressure signs develop. 3200-3250fps is what I want for velocity provided there is accuracy there also. right now the 117 btsp load goes right around 3200 on the chrono. I think the accubond is a little tougher bullet so would like to try it. Rifle is a weatherby lightweight with the 6 locking lug action (not the 9) based on the old varmintmaster action. 24" barrel. I use the rifle for deer hunting where shots as close as 50 yds and far as 400 are the norm. Blacktail/mulie crossbreeds here in north central Oregon. Any responses much appreciated. Thanks.

H1000 gave me more consistant velocities in my 25-06 than RL 22. It is bulkier than R@22 and you can completely fill the case with powder to get better load density. I use a compressed laod of 59.5 grains in a Remington case, with the 110 AB or 115 BT, and a Federal 215 primer. Velocity is around 3225 (for the 115 gr) from my 26" barrel. This load is over-book, but doesn't show any pressure signs in my rifle.
