Gentlemen, I've just read that Alliant has introduced a new powder, Reloader 10, that is aimed at the small caliber and benchrest markets. They specifically list the .223 Rem and .22-250 Rem with light bullets, how light I don't know, and the 6mm BR. Any further information about this powder would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Matt.

RL 10x will be out this summer. It will be a little faster burning than RL 12 was. This puts it closer to RL 7 than to 15. It is intended mostly for varmint/target shooters in calibers such as the 222, 223 and 22-250 with light bullets. It will also be good in the 308 and 30-30 with light bullets as well. It will be a good benchrest powder in the 6 PPC and 6 BR.

Anybody have an idea of how this powder would do in .45-70. I shoot a Browning with a 28 inch barrel. Could I get any benfit from this slightly slower powder verses reloader 7?
