I'm using IMR 4350 for the first time to replace the local powder we normally have in SA. Does anyone have a moderate load using IMR 4350 using Barnes 400gr TSX FB out of a 416 Rigby with a 24 inch barrel?

Depends on what you mean by moderate.

I suggest you start with 92 grains and go up.

Thanks, I’ll give it a go. By moderate I mean I’m not looking to push the cartridge to the edge of its maximum velocity

Pretty close. I would start at 90 gr as IMR can be a tad faster than H4350.

Just checked my logs. In my CZ 550 Mag 416 Rigby with 24 inch barrel, I got 2380 fps with 92gr of H4350

96 gr of H4350 gave me 2550 fps.

My estimate is that at 94gr of IMR 4350, you should get around 2500 fps.
