Is Fred Huntington's son still active in this business? I used to have some very interesting and informative conversations with him, but I haven't tried to contact the company recently until today.
They now have an automated answering system which is a far cry from the previous hands-on approach.

I finally got through to a human being and am able to answer my own question. Fred Huntington, Jr. is 81, still active in the business, to the point of coming in half day. I'm sorry to say that I missed him.

I used to get Buzz when I would call, but believe he passed not long ago. The old RCBS shop was a neat place to visit in Oroville in the 1970s.

Huntingtons inventory has sure diminished over the last couple of years..They have been my primary source of components for about 50 years I guess, have been for a hell of a long time at any rate....I feel guilty when I deal someplace else these days.

The acquisition of Oroville neighbor RCBS by Vista Outdoors has seriously impacted the business. Offshoring an outsourcing has RCBS at its worst.

Sad for Huntington, no more custom dies for one......

That's right. I tried to place an order a while back + was told that they could not sell to the general public. I said I've ought tons of custom dies over the years. The guy said, not in the last 18 months you haven't. True but what a shame.
