I am working up loads for a new rifle. It is a pre 64 fwt 30-06 bored out to 338. In research for this rifle/bullet, I see Barnes showing a max load of 52 or was it 53 gr of RL 15. I have gotten to 52 and see no sighns of excess pressures. Would you share your experience with loads at or above 52 gr of RL 15 and the 210 TSX. If you have ballistics on your load that would be great as well. Thanks in advance for sharing your experience.

Hornady's manual pushes RL 15 up to 57.1 with its 200 grain SP... if you want to use that as a mark and try working up further... you should be fine with a TSX 210 at 53 grains.. it is fine in my 338/06 ( a rebored 270 Model 70).. with the 210 Nosler partition... regards seafire

I would drop it down a bit as the Hornadys usually will take more powder than a Nosler to reach a given velocity while the TSX takes a grain less than a partition. I use Big Game in mine, gets 2800 fps and shoots under MOA in my old FN. A shot not taken is always a miss
