Nosler 210 Partitions are all I use in my .338 !! Only difference is that IMR4350 is my powder of choice, very close in burn rate to RL19. I get 3050 fps out of a 26" barrel with 72 gr of 4350 with a 210 partition.

| Les I have one of those old Rugers in 338. They have a very long throat which results in lower pressures. I've also seen some winchester rifles with very short throats . That would explain your increase in velocity. |

| Les, I've got a '94 Ruger M77MKII in .338WM. I'm loading 70.2gr or RL-22 in Winchester brass, with 225gr SST's. Velocity is 2613 fps.
Good luck with the load.

| I have one of the old Rugers in .338WM and wouldn't trade it for much if anything! Mine shoot's incredibly well. The barrel has been shortened to 22". I am over book on most loads with no pressure signs at all. I'm using 250gr Woodlieghs in mine over RL22, Rem Brass, WLRM primers. I used IMR4350 with 200gr. Barnes X wich shot ok but not nearly as well as the 250's. I only took one elk with the Barnes 200gr X. I'm hearing lots of people really loke the 210gr Nosler Partitions. I may try them when I run out of the Woodlieghs......unless they go on sale again. Nate |
