Anyone use these? I see Graf's has them at $26/100, and thought they might be a good practice substitute for 286 grain Partitions...

In my 9.3X74's it a great practice bullet. Very accurate and fine for up to whitetails IMO.

Cheap isn't always bad! Big Grin

It's a good reliable cup and core bullet for almost any thin skinned game you want to hunt. Just don't try to over drive it in some 9.3 super magnum...it designed for 2000-2500 fps.

I shoot a lot of premium bullets in other, faster calibers but with only a 9.3 x 57 and 9.3 x 62 (they bracket the 9.3 x 74 power-wise), I've never felt a need for anything more in 9.3.

I have cut Prvi Partizan 9.3 285 gr in two longways and the side walls from the base to 3/4 the way up were 0.040" thick.

I have some test data on them and other 9.3 bullets. They are reputed to be very good on game up to moose & eland at normal 9.3X62 or X74 velocities.

Have never used them on an animal but for target practice they are great.

I know I am getting in late on this thread, but 285 gr PRVI bullets are my bullet of choice for hogs and have killed up to 350 pounders with them.

I bought a couple of thousand when they were in the $19-20 price range.
