It works well in the 25-06 with 120 grain bullets. Other than that, it typically used in larger magnum cases, for it is a very slow burnig powder.

I agree. It works really well in my 25-06 and 300 Winchester Mag.

Tell us what you need to load it in and with what weight bullets. Even very slow powders are adaptable to smaller cases if the bores are also small and the bullets relatively heavy. Examples would be .243 and 6mm Rem with 100 grain and heavier; .25-06 with 110+ bullets; .270 with 130+ bullets; .280 with 150+ bullets, etc.

It'll make them go bang and kill stuff. Just be sure not to under-load with it. I'd stay on the high side of the bullet chart (190-220) to get consistent burns.

I shoot it extensively with my .257 Wby and two .270 WSM's. Good shooting.

Alliant says it is similar to 4350 but not which 4350, H or IMR. I ordered several pounds for use in my 7WSM, anyone able to suggest a good starting point, H or IMR data?

Quickoad says 53 grains is going to be a case-full. That would give you something like 31,000 psi and about 2250 feet per second. 57 grains would be 110% capacity, compressed a good bit and get you up to 39,000 and 2440 fps. Not exactly a barn-burner but like I said, it will kill stuff very dead.

Much more approprate for that combo. Rel-25 is a little bulky so all the top loads are compressed to some degree. 49.5 grains is 107% capacity, 59,000 psi and a tad over 3100 feet per second.

Re25 works very well in bottle-neck (over bore) cartridges and relatively heavy bullets, but it will also work in '06 sized cases with heavy bullets and powder compression. I was able to get c. 2850 fps with c. 66 grs with 180 grain bullets in 30-06/24" barrel with powder compresion and absolutely no pressure signs. I think it would be better with 200 grain bullets - possibly 2800 fps performance. Re25 is spectacular in my '06 Ackley Improved giving 3100 fps with 180s and a 26.5" barrel, but you need to get c. 70 grs of powder into the case with a long drop tube, tapping, and bullet compression. Compression has not been a problem and accuracy is very good. Re25 is spectacular in my 300 Win Mag giving 3300 fps with 180 Accubonds, 83 grs, and a 26.5" barrel. This is MAX, but case life is acceptable. The latter is a one-shot destruction on elk and at long range. You'll get the best performance (kinetic energy wise) using the slowest powder that will just get you to your desired MAX PSI (65,000 PSI for me) and just fill the case to the brim - you want to put as much energy behind that bullet that you can. Powder compression by the bullet has been entirely safe in my experience. Regards, AIU
