Has any one come up with some inherently accurate loads for the 300 rum in the Remington 700 PSS or others. Especially with IMR 2878, IMR 4350, or H1000 powder. And how about bullets? Let me know.

My most accurate "hunting load" is....
88.5gr of IMR 7828, fed 215 br caps, and 180 Swift Scirocco bullet. It yields 3260 fps and is capable of under 1" at 200 yds.

POPs, I would love to know your secret of getting the Scirroco's shoot well out the 300RUM. That is the only bullet I can't get to shoot well out of either of my two Ultra mag rifles. I really wanted that bullet to work too since they perform so well on moose. But am going to have to go with Speer GS instead. My best so far is H1000 95g, and 180g Nosler PT with CCI Mag primer loaded to 3.625" COL. And I am not a big fan of Noslers.

I have tried POP's recipe and it does shot that way. I seat the sciroccos so that the col is 3.620. Also starting with a clean barrel will help like in the barnes. I have also tried Noslers (180) with 96 grains of rl25 seated to 3.650. shots .5 moa also. But my favorite load in my 300rum for hunting up here in Ak is 91.5 of Rl25 with swift a frames 200grain. When I worked this load I tried and seated it out to 3.6 and a bit longer and had great luck with it. But then I tried seating them to the cannalure and with the slightest of a crimp this will shoot any day any time less than .5 moa. Usally .3 to .1. I was at the range last week and gave a couple of these to another 300rum shooter who is going to Africa with his rum, he shot a group that was about .2. One thing I noted when I was checking these on my crony, is that the SD went down below 5 on all my shots. Another good load that shoots in the .75 is a load of 92.5 of 7828 behind a 180xlc. This clocks in at 3325 in my rifle. Bullet is seated to a length of 3.6 col. All primers are fed215m

if its just accuracy your looking for try the 150 matchking and 96 gr RL 22. it goes 3611 fps out of my 700BDLSS into some groups that i wont quote for fear of being called a liar.
for hunting whitetails i use the CBT balistic silvertip with 98 gr RL25 for 3435 fps and plenty accuratye enough.

To All,
In my Remington, I am only able to get 3.600 on my OAL. Those of you who are showing longer OAL, are you shooting Rem.'S and where did you get the magazine well? Thanks for the responses.
