Well, I got out my 444 load dies stuff tonight finally.

I have loaded up some 200 grain XTPs and some 240 grain XTPs to test out.

I also have some 265 grain Hornady's and their 300 grain XTPs, so I will also test them.

Any other bullet weights that anyone is interested in?
I usually do the 300 grain XTP and have pretty much quit using the other ones after using that bullet and seen its performance.

I have not used any of those eclectic bullets like the 335 grain "whatever" etc. The XTP in 300 grains works plenty well. I can not imagining something improving on that very much.

I also have some 270 grain Gold Dot Speer bullets, but between them and the 265 grainers I don't think their will be much difference in velocity.

IN summary, so far
1. 200 grain XTP
2. 240 grain XTP
3. 265 grain FN
4. 300 grain XTP.

Anything else?

Cheers and Good shooting

Thank you for the offer. I have been shooting some Hawk 300gr. hp's with H335 and would like to see how they compare with the blue dot.
I will gladly send you some if you don't have any. Let me know what a fair number to test would be.
Thanks
Frank

Frank,

Let me do my testing and compare the data with the 300 grain XTP. I have found blue dot does not give a lot of variation on velocity with bullets of the same the weight but different designs.

If anyone supplies the bullets, I will be more than happy to do the testing. Since I am just up I 5 once you cross into Oregon by about 40 miles on the freeway.

Keep me posted after I post the 300 grain XTP loads.

Cheers and good shooting
