I use between 210 and 230 grs. of 5010 in a 50 BMG. Good load

I can get 8 pounds of it for $80 its looks to be at least 20 years old is it still good?

That sounds like that might be a bit too much money for 8 pounds of that stuff. I got an 8 pound keg of the 5010PD surplus powder for $4.71/pound or $37.68 for the keg. I don't know if the surplus is the same as H-5010 powder. The surplus stuff is an extruded powder and the kernels are BIG...BCB

The kernels are so big you can count them out instead of weighing the charges. It is also good in the 6mm and 6.5 Gibbs.
