Well spring bear season draws ever closer. I am looking to use the .225 Sierra Gamekings this year. I already have a good load with the 250 speer but I want a bit more reach. I can't justify buying the what Sierra offers for load data as I have no intrest in all the extra's.
As for powders I have all the usual suspects and I am leaning toward H-4895 RL-15 or Varget.

Feel free to chime in on what you like for a 225 in the Whelen.

Best load 59.5grs RL-15, Fed 210 primer. 225 Nosler BT.
