just been having a talk with ty at barnes, and he said there will be no 180 gn ttsx proj in 30 cal as they would not stabalise.....suprising and intresting!!something is not right here, the 200 gn tsx will stabalise in a 1:10 twist but a 180 ttsx will not

Because the plastic tip is in front, and weighs nearly nothing, the center of gravity is moved further to the rear, requiring a faster twist than the regular TSX.

A 30 cal 180gr. monometal bullet is more than is needed for anything in the US anyway. The 165 will penetrate farther than any 180 cup and core bullet ever did. JMO, Dutch.
