I have shot H414 up to 61.5 grains with a Rem Large rifle primer under 180 grain Nosler bullets with much accuracy. However, the velocity spread was so great (123 fps) that I decided to give IMR 4350 a try (all data from Nosler's manual). The 4350 was more consistent in the velocity department, but was not very accurate im my rifle either. Sorry, I have not tried any Barnes bullets yet. BTW: My rifle is a Remington Model 7 with a 22" barrel. My rifle had a "sticky" bolt with Remington factory 180 gr. ammo. Velocity for the factory load was 3100 fps in my rifle!! Varget has worked well with 165 grain Hornady SST.

I have had very good results in my Rem 700 with H4350 and various 165 and 180 grain bullets. My favs right now are 63.6 gr under 165 gr Speer SP @ 2960 fps/ 0.325" group; and 61.7 gr under 180 gr Accubond @ 2905 fps/ 0.70" group, WLRM primer. Haven't fooled w/ Barnes bullets to date. YMMV, work up slow, blah blah. Go to http://www.shortmags.org/shortmags/downloads.htm for more load data. Best of luck.
