Hello I'm trying to reload some 40SW cases. The problem is ,that after full resizing the case diameter at the base is 426 instead of 424 what it should be, according to Lyman's 48th edition.I use the RCBS carbide dies. Also for the case length it says trim to length:845, but all my cases are 840. Are they suitable for reloading? Thank you all! Survival of the fittest? That's just natural selection.

If a loaded round will chamber in your pistol, the sized diameter is fine. Do you have the sizing die screwed all the way down? They case length is fine, they will "grow" a bit after firing. LIFE IS NOT A SPECTATOR'S SPORT!

Thanx men! The top of the shellholder touches the bottom of the die, so it goes all the way in. There is plenty of room in the chamber with .426, even more with .424 Survival of the fittest? That's just natural selection.
