kinetic puller for 470 NE
Does anyone make a puller big enough for 470 NE? My old RCBS isn't even close.

Get the RCBS universal collet holding puller and the .45 puller... sit the collet in the holderput the case in the press, run it up until it touchs the collet, tight the collet with "up" pressure on the case (slight) and then once set, use "down" to remove...

the .45 collet works on 416, 423, 451, 458, and 475.

Hey Marty, If you do not have many bullets to pull, here is something you can do that won't cost you anything but a bit of time.

1. Put your Seating Die in the Press and "barely" Seat the bullet a tiny bit deeper. That breaks loose the mechanical bond, or crimp if you applied one.

2. Remove the Seating Die and run the Cartridge up through the top of the Press. Grasp the Bullet with a pair of pliers and lower the cartridge.

If you want to protect the bullet from minute surface scratches, wrap it with a bit of tape first.

The RCBS Tool Jeff mentioned is excellent.

I recently purchased a special RCBS 50 cal bullet puller. It cost about $185.00 but I can tell you that it is worth it as The 50 cal bullets I am pulling while working up loads are $2-$3 each. They make collets for many bullet diameters. If you are a consumate reloader it is a very usefull tool.

What jeffe said......and then some. I found a sweet load for my 470 and ended up pulling about 20 rounds or so....went REAL fast and didn't leave a single mark on the bullets. The RCBS is the way to go.

The RCBS collet pullet is THE way to go! Works very well, and does not mark bullet. Have used it on .375, .416 and .470 calibers. Is relatively cheap in comparison to a kinetic puller ... especially one big enough to do major calibers.
