Here are 2 .375H&H loads that I use>

300gr. Swift A-frame
74.5grs RL-15
WW cases
MV=2600fps

300gr. Sierra Boattail
78.5grs. W-760
WW cases
MV=2522fps

Both loads are max in my rifle, so reduce and work up in your rifle. My rifle has a 23" barrel.

It's a bit more than necessary for plains game but if you want to use it go with an A-Frame about 250-270 grains.

Its a new rifle and shoots under an inch at 100yds. I want to break it in on a Kudu and Gemsbok. I am going to take either my 3006 or 300 wtby as a second rifle. Thanks for the info.

I like the 270 North Forks with 72.5 grains of RL15 for 2770 fps in my rifle. Expands on anything and great penetration.

We did all our Namibia hunting with 260 gr Accubonds and RL 15 at about 71 grains (I think). Very accurate load and the accubond worked superbly on kudu, gemsbok and mountain zebra. Most shots were pass throughs, the ones recovered penetrated up to 4 ft (follow up Texas heart shot on gemsbok) and retained about 75% with perfect mushrooms. The one through both shoulders of zebra at 40 yards retained 50+% after going through those massive bones. I think it's a great choice. Bob

I like bobc's load. Used it with good success. If you're not an Accubond fan, they also make a 260 gr and 270 gr Nosler Partition which will work very well.
