What kindof of pistol primers have the softest cups. I reduced the hammer spring in my pistol and some hard primers won't go off consistently.

This is just a question. No judgement here. Why did you reduce your hammer spring weight so far that thick primer cups are a concern?

Inquiring mines just want to know.

FLBill is right, the Federal primers have the reputation of having thinner primmer cups than most other primmers.
