I have a 1980 Rem. Mtn Rifle in 7mm08. My cartridge holds 60.9grs of water in a Rem. case. My load for goats and deer is as follows. 139gr Hornady SST on top of 45.2gr IMR4064 which is 97.6 % filled according to QL. Pressure is 60066 which is under the Max pressure of 60191. The load is lit with a CCI250 primer and crono results show an avg. velocity at 2975fps.

HUMMM that doesn't sound right, Ken Howell's big blue book of, Designing and Forming Custom Cartridges, says the standard 7-08 rem is 76 grains of water? Anyway I'm trying to figure out the percentage of increase in case capacity, and the amount of increase in velocity Extreme Custom Gunsmithing LLC, ecg@wheatstate.com
