I'm awaiting those new Interbonds too... First they were due in February, then March (according to MidwayUSA) and now you're hearing June... Oh well, when they do hit the shelves it should be a great bullet for the price. The bonded core is nearly always a tougher bullet compared to the cup and jacket style. I doubt that Interlock ring held very well under really violent impacts and I've heard good and bad on it's performance on really large critters. I think this new design will put the 300gr RN back in the game for more serious applications.

The .458" 500gr Interbond is already out and I've got two boxes of them. Have not had time to work with them yet. Anybody out there tried them or heard any reports?

I have been watching the Midway site too, and wanting these suckers to come in. I finally figured out my problem with my .375H&H in that it likes the bullets close to the rifling, and it has a long throat. Essentially, I have a bolt action single shot with spitzer type bullets. But I do get good accuracy out of the standard Hornady 300 RN.

It would have been nice to try these new Interbonds out and possibly take them to RSA in a couple months for my first safari. Looks like they wont be available until after I return... damn!
