Has anyone used Makarov bullets for making up light loads for the 9.3's?

I thought I might like to play with this idea as a fun way to play with my rifle. Kudude

Yup I have. 95gr hornadies XMP (or whatever they're called) Very good results from the little I did (no load notes)

Seating was a problem they are much much shorter. Think I had to tap another bullet into the seater stem to get them seated so run out was bad.

You need really fast powder, don't use filler such as dacron.

I'm afraid this is so far out of 'normal' that I don't want to suggest anything other than to say H322 left large amounts of unburnt powder.

Now that's a Great idea! Gardiner already started on pulling bullets from a crate of crap makarov ammo.

S265 or S335 are the powders I am going to try
