Hey fellas,
I just bought a brand new Savage 12FV in 22-250 for groundhogs and I want to treat it right so if anyone has an accurate and speedy load I'd be very interested. Also, I plan on putting a Nikon Monarch 5-20x44 on it...good choice? Any opinions, good or bad, are very welcome as usual. Thanks a lot.

The Nikon Monarch is some of the best, if not the best, value available in optics today---especially in the higher magnifications. A comparable Conquest magnification scope would be more than double the money. It's hard to do much better than Nikon without spending a lot more money.

If you have not already bought that Nikon, you might want to check out The Optic Zone. I just bought a new Weaver T-24 there for one of my BR rifles. They had some really good prices on high end scopes.

That's exactly where I plan on getting it. I'll end up saving a lot of money. I was hesitant at first because of the fact that it is so expensive, but I've heard only good things about the optic zone.

Actually I just noticed that they have a Burris Signature Select 6-24x44 for 459.00. I know that is a good deal but I don't really know too much about Burris glass. How bout' it???
