Bought an RCBS uniflow powder measure this past weekend at a gun show. The cavity seemed large to try and drop 4 grains of Bullseye. I thought I would call RCBS and ask them. The girl in customer service said if you are only loading for pistols then you need a smaller cavity. She said what is your name and address I'll send you one at N/C. I had the same type of service when I phoned them a month ago. The priming arm on my 20 year old press broke. She said that is covered by the warranty and I had the part in 4 days! I wish more companies would stand behind their prducts and offer this type of service. Whenever possible my next equipment purchse will have the RCBS name on it.
I had a very similar experience with RCBS. I was moving my 5-0-5 scale from one table to another and it slipped out of my hands onto the concrete floor in my loading room. The base was fine but the weight beam was rendered useless. I called RCBS the next day explaining what happened and that it was totally my fault. The rep. was very understanding and said that they would be happy to replace the scale beam and all they needed was my address. I told them that I had my credit card ready and their reply was that there would be no charge. This was my fault and they didn't even charge me for the shipping!!!! WOW! I have been singing the praises of their service for about 10 years since this happened and whenever I need to purchase a new item for my loading room, RCBS gets the first shot with my money. It's the least I can do because of the way they treated me. Elk Country

I got a case stuck in a die for my 416 Taylor. I told them it was my fault but they replaced at N/C. When the die came it was the wrong one. The customer service rep sent the correct one and when I asked about shipping the first one back they said keep it.
I have a similar experience to Elk Country, but helping me cost RCBS even more. I dropped my 15-year old RCBS 1010 scale and broke the beam.
First, I am in Europe. I sent RCBS an email via their website, and I explained that I dropped the scale, and I asked if I could get a new beam.
RCBS emailed me back and told me that the beam and balance pan, etc had to be factory calibrated together. So, they sent me an American address to send the broken scale to and they (Ohaus, actually) fixed the scale (actually, I think they recplaced everything except the base!).
Now comes the expensive part... they sent the repaired scale back by courier to me so I could get it quicker. This cost them about $USD 30 if I recall correctly!
Great service from a classy company.

I had a stuck .223 case and because I live in a rural area I could not get a case remover quickly.I thought I might be able to get the case out with the decapping rod , so to make a long story short I caused extensive damage to the rod and still had a stuck case. I then called RCBS and they said no problem , send it in. When I recieved it back it was a complete , brand new die with an explanation that the old die had a small scratch in it and that MAY have caused the problem . My reloading room is RCBS green and will stay that way.

RCBS rules. They have figured out that customer service pays. For every $1 they give away in replacement parts and service they must get $100 in new orders (largely due to threads like this one). I can't say enough about how fine a group RCBS is. We can all learn from these guys.

Ditto on RCBS service. I picked up a priming tool in the bargin bin that was missing the primer tray. One call, and had a new one in the mail no charge. Thats service
I just went through the whole stuck case issue on my 300 RUM resizing die. Same results as everyone else, even though it was totally my fault. I expect the new die to arrive in a few days. No doubt I'll stick with their products.

Same great service here. Broke the handle on an old Posiprime tool. Had a new one gratis in 4 days, to Australia no less. About to buy 4 new sets of dies. Guess what brand they'll be. Had the same level of service from other Blount subs. Must be overall company policy. Sure pays in customer loyalty.
