I'm guessing the backthrust of recoil has not quite happened at this point ?

^ Yes, I thought it was neat how there is still orange glow in the muzzle.

I was video taping my shooting at 60fps, and captured this image.

I was scrolling through the video to get a snapshot and stumbled onto this.

Funny this.

3 days ago a friend came over with his kids to shoot.

They shot several rifles, and he took some neat pictures just like this, but from the side.

He was using his IPhone.

Sorry I should have said, that rifle is a M700 .30-06, shooting 180gr Hornady BTSP.

Muzzle velocity on the Chrony was 2730fps.
