Just ordered/commited to my new long range P-Dog rifle and would like some input from anyone shooting a fast twist 6BR as I can find little load data. The rifle details are

Lilja 1.200 HV taper 6mm – 8 twist to finish at 28"
Rem 700 SA LH Action complete truing, Holland pinned lug
Chamber to 6 BR .271 neck for Lapua brass throated for VLD's
Jewell HVR 8oz trigger
H-S Precision stock bedded and floated

I'm going to use Lapua brass and will start with 90 or 95gr Bergers and the 95 or 105 Lapua Secnar's. I will also use Match small rifle magnum primers. Does anyone have any powder or starting load recomendations. I have ordered the Lapua reloading manual which should have something but does anyone else have suggestions.

For P-dogs, you may want to try the 105 V-Maxs for the expansion factor, not a bad B.C. either [Smile]

Start with 28 grains of N150 and work your way up carefully.

Belle's dad,
have you considered the possibilty to chamber a 6mm Norma br?
I think that is very near to your project.
