I am searching for reloading Data for the .416 Rigby with the 410 Grain Woodleigh SN Bullet.
How knows some data if possible with the Norma MRP.
Which Brasses and primer did you use?
Thanks a lot Florian Wegehaupt

Florian.

Well according to Norma's homepage, they have a "startload" at 98 grs of MRP behind a Woodleigh Weldcore SN.
I'll guess any Large Magnum Primer will do. I personally use CCI 250.

I have never used MRP in my Rigby, but the say it's a good powder.

Good luck.

I am at the minute using rem 9 1/2magnum primers, but now I have a good supply of Federal 215 M's I will probably use them. I load 102 grains of AR 2209 (equivelant of IMR 4350)behind the woodeligh 410 gr SN for around 2550-2600 fps Barrel length is 25.5". I am using Bertram Cases. I will change to Norma Cases eventually.

I am getting 1.75" groups at 100 yards which is about as good as I can shoot with the hold I must use with this rifle.

Norma Brass and the only primer that I would everconsider is the fed. 215.

102 grains MRP gave 715 m/s in the Rigby that I've loaded.

I realise the fed 215's are better thats why I will change to them, just could not get any for a whil but why?? the rem Magnum primer never failed so far.
