Anyone know of a tool which will prime cases with the .505 gibbs rim off the press ?? My shell holder for my .585 will not fit my rcbs hand priming tool and I prefer off the press priming.

Regards PC.

I use a Hornady hand priming tool. It takes your presses shell holder.

PC,
The old RCBS PosiPrime single shot priming tool will accommodate larger diameter shellholders. I've seen several at gunshows for about US$10.00. I use one for my 577-450 M-H.
If all else fails, you can prime on a shotshell loader, a drill press or even a bottle capper.
Regards,
Ross
