| An excellent way to qualify for dealer pricing at many distributors like Midway, Brownells, and Grafs is to get a C&R FFL. Apply to the feds, $30, and you are good for three years not only to get great discount but you can now purchase C&R elgible guns from distributors and individuals anywhere in the USA.
I use Midway a great deal as this discount is often substantial and their service is great. Items are in stock and order usually ship the same day. Grafs I use when I need a large powder supply about once a year, but they are a tad less than polished in the service dept. Also be sure to check out Lock, Stock and Barrel.

| I mostly purchase from Midway. My C & R is on file there so I get good prices and I can get almost everything I need from them.
Perhaps it is the oddity of combination of items I need, but when filling out my list and seeing who has what, I find that I can do more one-stop shopping at Midway than anywhere else. Now, if I had a different assortment of items I might go elsewhere.
Graf's has been good to me as well as Midsouth. |

| I've not found Cabela's to be very competitively priced. try www.outdoorsuperstore.comIt's kind of a clearing house for outdoor gear. I've got some great deals on 44mag loads, but some prices are higher than anywhere else. Shop around the net; there are deals to be had everyday!! Jim |

| Get on Ebay and type in Reloading. Lots of brass and other toys. I buy most all of my supplies local but every now and then I'll see something on Ebay that I want.(the better half says 'want' not 'need'.) |

| In the PAST I bought from Midway. They billed it as "free"shipping. We all know that meant price was jacked up to include shipping. But it was convenient for me to not have to figure shipping. Then with no notice, they changed that policy. That was their prerogative. People with things on back order were now charged shipping. WHOA! EXCUSE ME. Whose fault was it that the stuff was not in stock when the customer ordered? Certainly not the customer that is now paying a different price than they bargained for. Their CEO Larry Porterfield made a smart assed statement that HE changed the policy and that was his right. Take it or leave it. He then put pictures of him all decked out and going on safari. Now I ask, couldn't a person that can afford a safari not afford to pay the postage that they had already agreed to? I no longer buy from Midway. |

| Wow, thanks for all the info, folks. It was a lot more than I had hoped for. Especially that list of links from Clark; thanks for the effort, that is one of the best responses I have seen on forums such as these! Hadn't thought about eBay for stuff like brass, not sure why... heck, I think I could get a new wife on there, if I just searched. **OUCH** The wife walked up on me while I was typing that. (Besides, if I ever got rid of her, the LAST thing I would search for would be another wife, unless she liked bowling, flying, and guns more than me!) Thanks again to all who responded. I am going shopping for my Dillon conversion kit and other goodies to get started! F6 |

| For powder and primers, I shop Powder Valley, Inc. Save up your order and share with friends to cut down on the HazMat fee effect. Dies & supplies I try to buy from Russ Haydon's Shooter's Supply. Both these companies are family operations with great service. I'd rather pay them more and know the profits support nice people than save a couple bucks elsewhere. Russ Haydon is a wealth on knowledge and information. Sportsman's Warehouse and Kesselrings get the balance of my business these days. Ed |

| Another vote for MidSouth Shooters Supply. They probably get 75% of my business, as they consistently have the best component prices, but do lack some of the offerings Grafs (fixed "shipping")or Lock Stock & Barrel have. Midway is the last resort; good inventory, but often overpriced. MidSouth charges actual UPS or FedEx Ground charges. Sometimes others must have "their finger (or foot)on the scale"... |
