does any know the fps in a 204-40grn loaded w/ 27.9 grns of W748. thanks | ||

No clue with out a chrono.........haven't seen any loads out of mine with 40 gr. bullets that go over 3800fps tho. | |||

31gns of A.D.I. AR2208 (sold as Varget in the US) gives about 3960 FPS with the 40gn V Max . Load is close to maximum so work up from about 28gns . Not sure whether Hodgdon markets AR2206 in the U.S. but have read that you can get over 4000 FPS with the 40gn V Max using it . 748 is red hot with the 32gn (4290 FPS)but a bit quick I think for top velocity with the 40gn .
