<6.5 Mtn Rifle> |
I see MidwauUSA has 155 gr.Mega semi-spitzer for 6.5mm. Has anybody used these bullets? They look like a good choice for close range hunting in 6.5X55's and 260's.

I have shot moose whith them (155g 6,5*55)and i cant complain they all died in 150y and the expanded weight of the recovered bullets were about 60%.

IMO Lapua Mega is one of the very best non-premium bullets on the market for close to midrange hunting.Much better than Remington Core-Lokt or Hornady Interlock. More information in www.lapua.com look at components and then bullets [ 08-01-2002, 01:15: Message edited by: Hjortejeger ]
