I see MidwauUSA has 155 gr.Mega semi-spitzer for 6.5mm. Has anybody used these bullets? They look like a good choice for close range hunting in 6.5X55's and 260's.

I have shot moose whith them (155g 6,5*55)and i cant complain they all died in 150y and the expanded weight of the recovered bullets were about 60%.

I use BalisticTip 120gr and Grand Slam 140grs in my 6,5x55 I am thinking of geting me Mega, but please tell me more about it.

I'm gonna use the laupa mega 185 grain in my 308 for roe, deer and moose. I'm ecpecting good preformans.

IMO Lapua Mega is one of the very best non-premium bullets on the market for close to midrange hunting.Much better than Remington Core-Lokt or Hornady Interlock.
