I found many software packages that deal with ballistics for the PC, I've downloaded a excel spreadsheet by Pejsa from jacksonrifles.com for my HP/CE handheld computer. I've heard of targeting/bullet drop type software for the Palm system, but have not been able to find it on the net.

I mostly use the Sierra Suite and a enhanced Pejsa software. I know that nothing will replace practice, but having the math at hand has really helped me especially working with Mil Dots.

I don't know if this helps but, if you know what minute of angle the mil dots are set at then you can use alot of programs that will give you a yardage correlation based on minute of angle. I do this with my premiere reticle scopes and a quickload program. Lets me do quick recalibrations based on what gun I mount it on.

I'm using the software that comes with the quickload program--i think it's called quick target. I've had several scopes done by premiere reticles. I have one of the scopes set up with leo quick change mts and I share it between my 257, 300 and 340 wby. I can recalibrate in just minutes.
