Since I now live 9 miles east of Parker and 9 miles north of Elizabeth CO looking for a place to shoot. Anyone have any info on this club? Or have another option in my area. I know there is one in Golden which is just too far. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

As usual just my $.02

You could try Frontier Sportsman's Club a couple miles south of Falcon. They have another range down by Fountain, but I've never been to it; however, it has the longer range out to something like 6-800 yards. So, you're likely about 50 miles away, which may be too far also.

I belonged to Ben Lomond for a year.

Their primary range is on County Road 105 near Ramah, CO that you can get to by taking Hwy 86 east and turning south on County Road 105.

They have good "covered" 100 yd range for small bores and an outside range for high power rifles out to 600 yards. Back then they did not put much effort into their high power range and did not have many benches etc. Many of their activities are focused on Cowboy Action shooting.

It became too long a drive for me from C. Springs when I could join Frontier or Pike Peak gun clubs that are much closer.

Golden Gun Club is located south of Watkins, probably 35 or so miles from you. I live near downtown Parker and it takes me just under 30 minutes to get there.

There is also Colorado Rifle Club NE of Byers. Its a 70 minute drive for me and would be a bit less for you. Fantastic facility with a strong emphasis on competitive shooting.

Both have nice websites.

Both the Golden and CRC are excellent clubs. The golden club is essentially one range, with a 500 meter maximum range. Dues are $165.00 + $100 iniation fee.

Byers has several ranges, small bore range, pistol range, 200 yard benchrest, 1000 yard benchrest, Silhouette and Cowboy Action ranges. Dues are much less, but it's alot further drive, and most years, it's snowed in from about November to April.
