I am doing a long distance training course in a month or so and would like an accuracy load for a 3006 and 168gr. Match Kings. Any suggestions?????

FWIW, H-S Precision uses 57grs H4350 as their standard load for the '06. I'll be trying that and a half grain more along with 50grs RE15 next month, let you know how it turns out. Jay

You didn't say what "long distance" means for you, but an approximation of the the old M72 Match cartridge is 48gr IMR4064 with the Sierra 168 for ~2650 - 2700fps in a 24" barrel.

Hey ib404, Are you saying you want to use a "Randomly Picked Load" to use for Long Distance shooting rather than developing the Load from below for your specific rifle?
