Have hit a couple of deer with them. Ranges less than 75 yards ... caliber .308 Win, velocity at 2600 fps.

Side shots just beind the foreleg. Did pass through the chest. Projectiles opened up very, very rapidly leaving more bloodshot meat than I like.

May be OK for longer ranges or much lower velocities. I'd prefer Noslers, Barnes, or Woodleighs.
