I'll keep it short. 6.5 Creedmoor. During barrel break-in I tested W-760, RL-17. The RL was more accurate. I went with it as my powder and have been pulling my hair out ever since; I can't get the gun to shoot consistent, accurate groups. Decided to go back to the drawing board today with an Audette's ladder at 300 yards with the 760 and the RL. The good ole 760 was much more accurate, piling in shot after shot in 3 3-shot consecutive shot strings. The best measured .4" at 300 yards. The RL-17 shot a "pattern" about the same total size as did the 760 but never really had consecutive shots do any clustering whatsoever. I've been burning the candle at both ends on this and now I think I'm done! I'm gonna load 43.2 grains of w-760 and be happy!.........and get some sleep!

know you wont, your like the rest of us reloaders, you just cant stop tinkerin. What bullet are you using? i found h414 to be a very good powder even though its the same as 760 i think its because the 760 came in a tin can and the 414 came in a plastic container.

Unfortunately, you're right. 139 grain Lapua. I'm glad it's the 760 that works....I've got 24#'s on hand and 8#"s of H-414!
