Ok fellas, the ole lady has purchased me a RCBS Chargemaster combo for xmas this year Smiler

I'm not a big fan of digitals for charge throwing, but I asked for this mainly for loading hunting loads in large qty to save time.

Do you fellas have any tips for a new CM owner?

Do you trust it for you paper punching rifles?(I'm pretty anal about getting target loads exact)

I use my digital for case sorting and bullet sorting as I haven't had much luck weighing charges with a digital.

Thanks and Merry Christmas,

Reloader

I find my digital stuff to be very accurate for my uses, I would trust it until it proves otherwise to you.

It's the only scale/charge throwing equipment I own. It has given me VERY precise results. I am currently working up loads for my 338-378 Weatherby and so far it's been right on.

I simply set it up according to the instructions, select a charge and press dispense, done... It's that easy... I do have it on a solid level table that is in no way attached to the reload bench but I'm guessing setting up a balance beam scale would be done the same way...

Test some charges against your balance beam and I bet you will find it to be right on...
