I think it will depend on your chamber. This should be doable, but if your chamber is a little on the large side of spec, then you will have to size the body of the case down a little more, and the 458 Win Mag case won't go down far enough. I would just try one and see. - Dan | |||

George, They worked with the Montana Rifleman barrel you almost bought from me, I later bought Hornady 458 Lott dies just because but the Win Mag dies do work. Jason | |||

George, My Hornady 458 Lott die set has a generic (i.e. 45-70, 458 win) expander die. It is way to short in my RCBS Rockchucker Supreme. So short that it is almost impossible to use and I have to do it by feel. I'm going to get either some CH4D or custom RCBS dies. Here's a thread where I descibed the problems. Th reply is yes, i have a 4 set dies RCBS in .458 Win which works perfectly even the crimp die to reload my .450 Ackley mag | |||
