I was cleaning my cases off after I got them out of the tumbler, and I noticed something I had never seen before. On my 300 Win Mag WW cases there is a mark that is on about 1/3 of the case. It is about 1/8 inch above the belt. It is showing no seperation and the mark is big at one ens and narrows to a point on the other. The cases have only been shot one time and when compared to older cases they are identical. Is that were the cases were produced or what could that be? Does this mark circumscribe the case or is it a vertical mark? Being that you just noticed it, have you checked the cases you have not yet fired?

The case marks are in a horizontal pattern that is parrallel to the belt. I do not have any cases that have not been fired. A man should never stop learning, so a man should never stop asking questions

OK, is it a dark mark, or a spot that looks polished? I am guessing that there is no dent there huh.
