I find it to be as close to IMR 4350 as lot to lot variances of IMR 4350. The batch that I am using seems to be slightly slower that IMR 4350 and not as slow as H4350. It is my powder for 30-06 at this time. Ku-dude
I've almost used up my first 16 lbs. Natchez has my next batch on a truck some where. Ive used 4350 for many years and where it counts, I can't tell the difference between the three. With 92gr. of it my .358 cal.moves a 250 gr. bullet out at over 3100 ft./sec. measured by Oehler and it's accuracy is right on the money. roger

The local gunshop used to stock accurate arms powders. I went there to buy some IMR 4350 one day, noticed the AA stuff was $11.50, while the IMR was $18.50. I bought the AA XMR 4350, and never looked back. It works well in everything the IMR or H 4350 should work in. That gunshop didn't sell enough AA powder, so he marked it all down to move it out, I scored 3 more pounds at $9.00/lb. I hope it lasts!
The burn rate is so close to the others, that you can use the same data. Of course as always, start low and work up.

In my 30-06 it showed up 110 fps slower than I4350. Maybe it was just "my batch". But, I probably won't buy it again. It almost seems as slow as I4831 to me.

We have a 6.5 swede for which 160gr rn's are its bullet of choice, and which has a strong preference for xx4350 (I,H or AA). This is a pw vs v graph www.gmdr.com/levern/6555-4350.jpg comparing the three 4350's in that context. The H4350 shoots the best, but all three shoot better than any other powder for that cartridge/bullet combination. [I and H data was taken at 66degF, AA at 64degF.]
Thanks guys. I developed an acceptable load with H4350, but it is hard to get in my area, but the local gun store has AA powder out the ying yang. I bought an 8 lbs keg of AA4350 last night, so I will go ahead and start developing loads.
